Does anyone happen to know if Lady Anne Winter - her character, or her name - were intentional references to, or inspirations from, Lady de Winter, from Dumas' D'Artagnan romances? It suddenly occurred to me today that her name felt weirdly familiar!

To cut a long story short, my books have not been directly available in the US, but my British publisher (Quercus) is currently awaiting contract completion from a 3rd party in order to make them available in the US in multiple formats as soon as possible.
