After finishing this first volume, I went ahead and read the book as well. Now I'm gonna go back to the manga, feeling like I can appreciate it better with the details from the book. Question: If I haven't read the novel fangirl, would you guys recommend me to read fangirl vol.1? I ask this because I honestly don't know if I should read the manga or the novel first(Even tho I prefer reading in the manga because I'm more like a visual person) Because if it is the same story and nothing "changes" I prefer to read the fangirl vol 1 :)

It was helpful having read the book before the manga to know all the stuff that had been cut out and shortened. But if you want to read the manga first go ahead you won’t miss out on anything too crucial.(less)
