Woody Allen seemed to have had horrible teachers when he was a child. It's amazing that he still disses them today. There's an old saying: "There are two sides to every story." Has anyone from those days ever written something in response to his bitter criticism? Did anyone have different experiences, and actually like their teachers? Of course everyone from those days is over 70.

I think most people understand that, so I'm not sure what value there is in making it an issue. Some teachers have a style that speak to some and not others. We've all had that in our lives at some point. At any rate, Woody wasn't engaged with these teachers.
