Does anyone have a copy that they could look up a page for me? BTW the author, who was a colleague of my father, is not the Nicholas Elliott described on the right here. He was Philby's closest friend in the Service and was sent to Beirut to get a confession from Philby; unanswered is was he unofficially sent to tip Philby off to do a runner, or did he do it as a friend. He is a v witty writer
