There is definitely r…moreObviously each parent has to make these decisions for themselves, but I did read it to my 9 year old and she was really into it. There is definitely romance, though it doesn't go beyond kissing. (Think Disney YA!) It might be a bit long/dense for an 8 year old to read on her own, depending on her reading level, but could be a family read! (less)
