Without spoiling too much, he talks to one boy for a while then learns a second boy has feelings for him. He's thrown for a few chapters, but the situation is quickly resolved. (less)

He knew Lucky went to his school, therefore Lucky probably knew Jill and Jill's personality, so he probably thought it would be funny to say that Lucky might be Jill, as like a joke.(less)
