Lucas Cliff From my perspective Sandy begins to manifest more than anything that Brodie is a lesbian, its silly seen as she's described as having various relation…moreFrom my perspective Sandy begins to manifest more than anything that Brodie is a lesbian, its silly seen as she's described as having various relationships with men but it's probably a sense of Sandy trying to narcissistically identify with Brodie and throughout it hints at her attraction to Brodie with focus on her breasts at one part, although I forget the quote now. Sandy converting to Catholicism is never directly answered and left somewhat ambiguous but I'd argue its from a form of repentance due to her lesbian identity and the time period or for betraying Brodie, or potentially a variety of these. However both of your questions are completely left unanswered so these are just my ideas! Hope they help :)(less)
