How did the ending of this book affect your view of the Shannara series of books? Do we really need to keep rehashing the storyline every few centuries to get the basic same resolution?

I can't disagree, I did feel as though many of the same problems and plot lines were revisited. Perhaps it is time to return to the earlier works and enjoy the story again. (less)
