It can get boring thinking of nothing but the same people in the same world every. single. day. For as many days as it takes to write the newest installment. It's not like it is for a reader, who is only in that world for a day or two while reading the book. I wouldn't say it's a "trend" so much as a "necessity" to maintain sanity.(less)
