Hi - I am notoriously bad at remembering details about books. One of those people that gets half way through a book before realising they've read it before. So - character called Krisztina features towards the end. She buys a special book as a gift. I can't remember where we met her before in the book! Wish I had the Kindle version to search. Will this be a good choice for my book club? Will it provoke interesting discussion? I'm always a fan of the more contentious end of the spectrum when it comes to book club. There's nothing more bland than a novel that everyone loves :)

It's a bit different for us, and a good grungy read with a male author is long overdue! I think it will be really contentious - with the end of life question so prominent - and I think the lively, off the cuff, edgy style of writing throughout will divide us too ... but I loved it! Characters are so intricately drawn! (less)
