I think she really likes Jackson. He's flawed but he is a work in progress as a man and he seems to acknowledge his flaws and also that he needs to work on them. One of his flaws is picking the wrong woman. His first wife was terrible and Julia is a flake whereas there are other women in his life that he doesn't go for who would be better choices.

I though Martin was very likable. He's a small, bullied man who doesn't want to make waves but can't help but step up and be heroic when a situation warrants. He is seemingly cowardly but didn't think twice about stopping Paul from getting beaten or from firing that gun.

And Tatiana! Total badass. I'd love to see her take a swipe at Julia. (less)

I think my favourite is Started Early, took my dog. I would absolutely recommend the rest. No need to read in order either.(less)
