Are there any more DnD books with Elves as protagonists? Or is Drizzt the only elf protagonist? Sorry I didn't know where else to ask this question.

Savvas Hello, in Dragonlance Realm, Tanis the half-elf is one of the protagonists. He is a half-elf though, as I said again before.

There is a trilogy, but the same author, set in Icewind Dale and the surrounding areas, though it doesn't necessarily follow the plot of the old PC rpg. Homeland is like part of a prequel to the Icewind Dale books giving insight to Drizzt one of the main characters.

If you enjoyed the Icewind Dale PC game give this or Icewind Dale a try, both are by R.A. Salvatore and pretty enjoyable.

The group these books follow have many later books, which some people love, and I liked, but after about the 12th book I sort of got irritated by Drizzt and crew. (less)

Hey I am looking into reading a long book series and I have stumbled upon this (over 30 books). Is it one big series or what format is this. Reader of the series enjoy 'Easter eggs' and throw backs along the way. However, the series simply follows Drizzt and his changing line-up of companions on their adventures as the Forgotten Realms landscape has changed from game edition to edition. The Forgotten Realms could be considered the over-arching backdrop, but it is a result of just being the setting, rather than true driver of the stories in the myriad books. (less)
