1. There is a chapter where Renée tells Alexandria not to wear her diamond necklace when going to work on the school. When Alexandria asks why Renée basically tells her that it probably costs more than what a ton of the inhabitants are living on. She can do the money conversions easily and quickly, as well as division and multiplication.
2. Alexandria got a 65 in maths at her highschool without listening to a single word her teacher said (she listened to music the entire time).
3. Renée later notices how good Alexandria is at math and tells her that she knows Alexandria isn't as stupid as she seems.

Note: this doesn't mean she likes math. She's just good at it.(less)
