Did it bother anyone else that someone with 2 million dollars in the bank doesn' hire a nanny to help take care of the colicy twins? Duh. Also, anyone who's ever had a bank safety deposit box knows that only those who are listed can be authorized to open it. Just because one is a spouse wouldn't be entitle you to open it, even if he/she has a key. Banks are VERY rigid on who can open a box. Another question.

Why is Hanna so involved? I thought there's be a story about her. Does anyone feel like her character was overemphasized not to matter?

Carol I think Stephanie used her to plant the seed that Patrick was mentally unstable.

I was confused why Patrick would t tell his partner right away that he knew Erika and not to hire her? That is what any other logical person would have done. They were close business partners, yet he’s afraid to tell him not to hire someone? Also when Patrick sees his wife’s purse in Erika’s apt. Why doesn’t he call the police? Just a couple of the many things that annoyed me with this book.

Helen Cummings I think the reason why was that Patrick didn’t want the police involved and then maybe there would be more investigation into his first wife’s death
