There is basically no sexual content; a few hesitant kisses between characters are described. There is a couple that shares a bed, but you have to read deeply into it to assume anything sexual is happening.

Violence is prevalent and somewhat graphic. There are detailed descriptions of wounds sustained by adolescents and teenagers, and there is a weapon used by antagonists that wounds and then dissolves bodies. PG-13 level for US audiences. European/Austrailian ratings would probably rate this at 15/16+ at least. (less)
