That it is part basic ethics and part supernatural fraud? Just let them read apologetics like the one listed here. They'll soon notice holes in the argument big enough to drive a truck through. For instance, if god were omnipotent and omniscient, he would know all of human history before it happened. Then what was the point of creating humanity in the first place? To get a multitude of beings to either flatter him or end up as firewood in Hell? Christians don't usually realize what a disgusting being their god is, but it's easy for people from other traditions to notice. (less)
