Jonah is talked about twice (I think?) towards the end, and Moses once. A Leviathan is also mentioned during the lake scene, however I don't know if that has any symbolism towards the novel as a whole. There is a lot of talk about the lion's den which connects to Daniel, as I think that's mentioned in the novel around 2-3 times?(less)

As it makes sense it would be: Wise Blood was her Master's thesis, and Violent Bear It Away was her final published work. (less)
