I have read the first two and while I enjoyed them and also like that the protagonist is not your standard alcoholic/recovering-alcoholic, divorced, life-in-a-mess police officer, I also find it annoying that his boss is very much a standard obnoxious, non-appreciative, a$$h0le kind of superior- it's such a cliché. What think y'all?
