I would love to know when in 1915 this was published? The author uses chorine as a simile for a morning mist creeping into a canyon in New Mexico where the heroine is staying. It seemed odd until I realized that the Germans first used chorine gas in April of that year.

Beki Chorine is a chorus girl. Not the same as chlorine.
