'More About Boy' (2009) includes just about everything in 'Boy: Tales of Childhood' (1984), but it does add a little bit of extra content on top. Considering that Dahl died in 1990, it isn't exactly like he was still around to include anything new in the 2009 edition. It's clear that (a bit of) material was added, though it's less clear if anything was removed or if it was just moved around. Whether any of the new content is actually worthwhile information is a whole different topic, and a subjective one at that.

So sadly, it's hard to say for sure. That said, if you already read 'Boy', you'll certainly feel like you've read this book before, and the vast majority will sound familiar to you. If you're checking it out from the library then it doesn't really matter, but if one were to buy the book it would certainly make more sense to just buy 'More About Boy'.(less)
