I have just started it, but as an Ohio resident, I'm very familiar with this history. Tecumseh was nearly successful in uniting the various bands of Indians in an attempt to repulse the westward expansion of European invaders to the North American continent. H would not have driven them back into the sea, but he would have been successful in halting them at the Alleghenies if his plan had worked. Sadly for the Indians, it was an alliance that never really formed and his death was wasted. (less)
