I've tried for years and years to find something similar to In Watermelon Sugar....maybe something that evokes a similar feeling. Although of course there are other books and authors that I love dearly, I've found nothing that comes close to this book in any way (not even other Brautigan books). Does anyone have any recommendations??

I am so grateful that I've been awakened to colorful days in the company of trout, drifting upstream. The best books sadly have no equal. They come over bridges and light the way with lanterns. That's what makes great literature...well, great.(less)
