But as it depends on your personal standards, I'll describe some events from the books. There is no overt sexuality in the series. There are brief allusions ("I didn't feel ready to spend the night at my boyfriend's house"), but nothing specific. Same with the violence. For example, there are murders in these books, but in typical cozy mystery fashion they occur off-page and are later discovered by the protagonist.(less)
