can anyone explain the ending to me. more specifically-the meaning of the post card squib receives in the last paragraph of the book? so did vern meet another dragon? a female? or was it just to let him know he'd gotten there safely?

I know this is a standalone but I'm curious if anyone's heard anything about a possible sequel? There's certainly a clear opportunity for one.

Roxanne I certainly hope so. All I can find is Highfire is being adapted as an Amazon series

Is Vern a wyvern or a western dragon? As in, does his wings attached to his forelegs, or he has his wings on his back? I know it doesn't matter much, but I imagine him having wings on his back all the time.
