So he returns from the war, is sick and with or without a letter does not go back to see for himself if Fleur ever went back to the Ritz for him. Letter or not, I would have thought Kit's love for her would have him going there regardless. (less)

I’m curious if Precious is in another book, or a book with her storyline will be released? It definitely seemed like I should have known something about her. For example, she noted that Kit reminded her of someone back in London.

Christine Purdy Precious is from the book The Last Night in London by Karen White. I’m glad I knew about her before I read this book.

I just started this novel, and I have a feeling that some of the characters we met in previous books. Is Tess from The Glass Ocean?

<spoiler> For instance, Kit is Robert Langford's son with Tess, and there's even a joke about how she called one of the obnoxious swans "Caroline." They refer to the bunker on the lake with the bridge as well. Kit likely learned to be such a good forger because of his artistic/con-artist mother as well!

Prunella Schuyler, who we see also talk about her time on the Lusitania, also ties in to Williams' Schuyler Family tree.
