I've read this book and in the middle of chapter 4, I was already stressed.. Sure, the writing is good and story is dark and gripping; but there are things that I'm drawing a line here: (1) animal abuse, and (2) an underage girl (she's not even 18!) having sex with full grown men. Sooo... maybe 3? Let's give the story the benefit of the doubt here.

As for animal abuse you will also see physical and emotional abuse in regards to the Leading Lady.
I loved the book but I prefer a dark edge to my Mc Romances. (less)
