I also don't like that the autor didn't explained what happened to the other characters, or how Joan's death affected them. Nothing more is said about Claude's problems or his relationship with Eloise, or if George and Eloise managed to solve their fraternal problems, and I think that by the end much of the wonderful historical part that the author described in the first half of the book was wasted, and replaced with the Huntley's story.(less)
