What is the "gas plant" that Sally-in-the-past lights with a match? It is apparently some kind of flowering shrub that gives off some kind of gas. Has anyone heard of this?

Amanda Dictamnus albus. You can google it. Basically, at times of the year it is covered with a volatile oil and can burn in a flash.
