But here --- EVERY scrap of ANYthing over the line or even CLOSE to the line of ethics, morality, financial fraud, murder, etc. is dug up and examined thoroughly, if not every which way but truthfully....except if you are a Clinton. Paul just didn't have the money, family background, or political clout to withstand that. He was a liability though justice had been served with the high profile case.

None of the characters is interesting, they are just big cliches of other, more developed characters from other books. I'm going to pass on Coben for a while.(less)

Am I the only one that feels like there is no real 'soul' in Coben's books? Sure the guy knows how to write, but i always have the feeling he does it as his job... and his heart is not in it...
