Kay This series has 13 books.

I'm reading this series, and I enjoyed it at first, but now it's getting somewhat repetitive. Every book, the Baudelaire orphans go to live with a new relative and are pursued by Count Olaf. Does the series ever depart from this model, and if so, when?

Amy Smith The children will be pursued by Count Olaf throughout the series but in the next few books they are no longing living with relatives.

why is klaus following baudelairs?
