The story's not set in London at all, and it's not set during the regency period, either. It takes place in 1937.

18) Everything is based off of the legends and folklore of Vlad Dracul and Vlad Dracula, and it was so interesting. Are these actual myths?
19) Also for 1937, did some things feel off, like the whole house party drunken mistake part that takes place off stage, and the two American (mostly) teenagers gallivanting in a pretty Red part of the world at that time. Was that common enough that hotel managers and shopkeepers wouldn’t bat an eye?
