I read this book and was very disappointed. Where is the rest of the book ??

Strange question, I know, but is there any animal cruelty in this book?

Vickie Two rabbits were used (no killing/graphic details) to feed members in the cult that were starving.

Did I miss something? She was literally in a cult before going missing but that was never explored by the police or her husband? It never occurred to them that the cult was the reason for her disappearance?

Am I the only one that thinks it is strange The Revenant was referenced during the book (pg 166)? Doesn't that not fit into this timeframe?????

Kayleigh Yes! It brought me right out of the book for a while. In retrospect, it may have been intentional as time is so weird throughout the book?
