Has anybody ever found another author whose writing closely resembles that of Lawrence Sanders ? His 'Deadly Sin' series is still the best I have ever read.

We loved them back…moreI assume you've tried Michael Connelly (Bosch series). I read Sanders 25 years ago but am going to order the series for my husband. We loved them back in the day. Especially the main protagonist who eats his gourmet sandwiches over the sink with a different beer each time. He was great. Edward X Delaney I think was his name. I had to ask the community if anyone remembered what author wrote about him and got the answer today.(less)
