Does this book take place in a different time? Like maybe ten years ago? Because it doesn't make sense for Leanna to have been a Mouseketeer when that..wasn't really a thing for 2000's kids lol, the show ended four years before she would've been born

Is this a depressing ending? like they're not going to end up together or something? I want to read it but I don't like not happy ending book.
