It looks like it was a year ago. In case you remembered you even asked the question. : While reading Good Hope Road a town is mentioned. I went back to Tending Roses to do a search. Hindsville is where Grandma Rose's farm was. Grandma Rose's real name was Bernice, but her husband always called her Rose. So old Mr. Jaans has just told Jenilee that Grandma Rose (Bernice) from Tending Roses is her great aunt... Her mom's aunt. So that would make Kate (whom she met at the wall of pictures, and a main character in Tending Roses) is introduced as her cousin...second cousin, or however that works. She never even knew she HAD relatives other than her daddy and two brothers.(less)
