Did anyone else notice the glaring error in the book? From book: Before the murders in New Hampshire, he had been developing her as an intelligence asset inside the FSB—Russia’s equivalent of the CIA. Reality: The KGB's main successors are the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation) and the SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service). FSB=FBI. SVR=CIA.

The FSB has a major counterintelligence function, as does the CIA. That may have led Brad Thor to make the statement he did. There really aren't clear silos when it comes to the FSB and the SVR (nor, really, with the CIA and FBI).(less)
