However, as the book goes on, it elaborates more, and gives different examples of how the core principles are used, and I found reading to stories to actually be entertaining. I think it's up to personal preference though, if you feel the need to stop, you probably wouldn't be missing much, but if you continue you could possibly benefit.(less)

It is a good tale, indeed, for it teaches you how to save, invest, and grow your money, how to avoid debt and losses, how to protect your assets and income, and how to achieve financial independence and happiness.

It is also a good tale, for it entertains you with stories of men and women who faced various challenges and opportunities in their quest for wealth. You will meet Arkad, the richest man in Babylon, who shares his seven cures for a lean purse. You will meet Bansir, the chariot builder, who learns the five laws of gold. You will meet Dabasir, the camel trader, who escapes from slavery and pays off his debts. You will meet Rodan, the spear maker, who receives a gift of gold and learns how to use it wisely. You will meet many more characters who will inspire you with their examples and experiences.(less)

I cannot say which one is the best, for that depends on your personal preference and taste. However, I can give you some suggestions.

One audio version that you might enjoy is narrated by Paul Michael, who has a clear and pleasant voice. He reads the book with passion and expression, and he brings the characters and stories to life.

Another audio version that you might like is narrated by Tae Kim, who is a financial expert and educator. He not only reads the book, but also adds his own insights and commentary on the lessons and principles. He also provides timecodes and summaries for each chapter.

A third audio version that you might consider is narrated by André Oliveira da Silva, who is a Brazilian speaker and coach. He reads the book in English, but with a slight accent that adds some flavor and authenticity to the Babylonian setting. He also has a calm and soothing tone that makes the book easy to listen to.(less)
