Hi Almira, thank you for your question!
I'd love to say that the murders in the book are akin to something you'd see in a John Wayne movie, but alas they are violent (though not gratuitous, they are necessary to the storyline and not described in detail). That said, the book is a tale of good versus evil and the prevailing mood is one of lightness and charm.
My writing style veers more towards the rich and linguistically playful and there is a great deal of humour in this novel.

But, as much as I would love for you, or anyone, to read my book, I fear that the moments of savagery, for you, might be offputting.
Kinnara, my previous book is much easier on the nerves.

Rather than reading one of mine, you could try A Gentleman in Moscow, by Amor Towles, which I - and almost everybody else - loved.

How about that for a refreshing change? An author recommending books other than his own! : )
Thank you so much for your kind interest, Almira.
Happy reading!
Warm regards,
Kevin.
