In terms of profanity, I can't say I noticed it was a feature of the book but can't say for certainty that there isn't the occasional mild swear; there are some problems in space so I wouldn't be surprised if someone made an exclamation. It certainly didn't stick out as one of those books where everyone is foul-mouthed. Hope that helps!(less)
