Instead I saw so many of my middle grade students reflected in Ziggy and June Bug. I think the themes of resiliency coming from imagination and friendship are ones kids can relate to. Mental health issues are rampant and I think a book that deals with it as honestly and beautifully as this book does should be widely read.(less)
