The first books arrangement of the voice acting was fantastic because both voice actors kept speaking for their respective main characters even when the POV shifted to the female or the male. The second book didn't continue this and it really hurt the narrative in my opinion since the characters reactions and the interaction between the 2 voices made a big difference in story telling. Which scheme will be used in 3?

The male voice (Luke Daniels) for Eric and all the men/boys, the female voice for Sylvie and all the women. Could they have redone book 2, if you heard it differently? Other than a series that had a full cast (several voices, all doing their own part) I haven't seen this treatment before, but I liked it a lot. It IS always hard to have the male narrator voice the female protagonist and vice versa. Loved the continuity. Book 3 continued it too ...(less)
