Like one of the other people answering this question, I didn't know that the book would have LGBT themes and I was so pleasantly surprised to find that it DID have them and that they were done so well. A lot of LGBT characters can be written as stereotypes or their sexuality takes away from their character in some way, but this book does a great job of treating sexuality like it should be treated--just a normal part of a person.(less)

There have also been considerations of making a one-time exception by letting Denna live in the damsel wing despite the fact that her author remains living. No conclusions have yet been reached regarding this issue. (less)

How many books are going to be in this series? I'm not a huge series fan, although depending on how good this book is (it sounds A.M.A.Z.I.N.G) I'm into the investment.
