Like one of the other people answering this question, I didn't know that the book would have LGBT themes and I was so pleasantly surprised to find that it DID have them and that they were done so well. A lot of LGBT characters can be written as stereotypes or their sexuality takes away from their character in some way, but this book does a great job of treating sexuality like it should be treated--just a normal part of a person.(less)

Personally, I prefer books that end like this--I hate waiting after a huge cliffhanger!(less)
