Please help!! Will someone PLEASE read this book??? She is such a great writer and psychologist. I want to read someone else's thoughts after reading. I can't stop trying to figure it out--had to re-read some parts to see if I could find the clues on second reading.

I've been reading mysteries since I was a child, and I still was taken by surprise. She does a great job of throwing red herrings throughout the novel. This ranks high on my list of Ruth Rendell greats.(less)
