Is it as good at the Beach House? I have not read books by Mary Alice Monroe but feel this is an author I will be be reading a long time,

Isn't that a rather big boo-boo on page 37? The scene is when Whirlwind is getting the best of Elise...it says "Suddenly she felt a strong arm grab the lead and jerk it out of her grip, the owner's other hand pushing her farther away." The "hand pushing her away" is the TRAINER, Kurt, not the owner who is Elise. How did THAT get missed?????

Maybe I have not read far enough yet to get the explanation, but I am confused as to what “D and D” refers to in chapter 7. It is clearly an expression between Charles and Grace. Divorce? Dressage? Thanks for any insight anyone can provide.
