This book is in fact my first rhyming picture book, so it differs from my first five releases because they were all poetry picture books. I have written compilations of children's poetry themed with both sleepiness/unwinding and action poetry/movement. My third book is acrostic verse about animals, my fourth book is a collection of poetry about the sky/astronomy, and "Shimmer" has a nighttime theme.

I have another rhyming book scheduled for release in 2019 titled So You Want a Puppy? about what it's like to bring a new pet into a household. That will be fun to read to kids and promote!
