There are Advanced Reader Copies available months before a book i published. These Copies (knows as ARCs) are not the final copies of the book, as there might be changes happening still. Usually they go out to booksellers, librarians, journalists and popular bloggers, with the idea of getting an early feedback and promotion before the book is published.
