Love your books :) Just bought X3 :) my question is, are the ships in your books taken from ships in any game? I would like to look them up and see pictures of them.

The ships in the books are based on the ships in the games, but not closely. Gunbus, Camel and BigMother are ships in my Apricot Mapping Service Mod.

Gunbus on the covers, is the Argon Centaur M6 in the game. Camel was based on the Teladi M6 in the mod. BigMother in the mod is an Argon M1, but the book description is completely different, which is why it hasn't appeared on a cover at all, as there is no similar ship in the games (It wouldn't fit through the gate!)(less)

How about adding the first book to the Amazon prime lending library? With a 12 book series, I would be more inclined to commit to purchasing them if I had the opportunity to discover if I like it first otherwise it sounds interesting but goes to the bottom of my want list because of all the other series available with the try before I buy option.
