Is the term "zerker" (someone gone berserk) used in this novel? I know the term is used in some novel I read many years ago and somehow I think it was this one. Anyone know?

Has anyone read this novel? What did you think? No Spoilers because I plan on reading it. I have never read a novel by John Brunner and I am working my way through the Golden Age of Science Fiction.

Kathie I first read this as an adolescent and it was absolutely spellbinding. Re-read it as an adult and found no reason to change my opinion.
