What the hell am I reading? Thinking out loud, I'm cringing the whole time through the first few chapters. Do I go on? Will this book get better? Because right now, this guy is an idiot. Who the hell starts kissing a stranger who opens a door for them? I don't care how rich or celebrity a person is. Just doesn't happen unless you are a walking STD.. YUCK... Any help with this book? Does it get better?

I wanted to give this series a chance but there's just too much bad reviews. I don't understand the 4.34 rating when almost everyone hated it so much. Is this really that bad or people who loved the book can't bother to write positive reviews?

Colton, in THIS day and age, shouldn't even be written about. You don't use your past to justify bad behavior, abusive behavior. Then I made the mistake of watching the Passionflix series, or at least the part they made from the first book. Ugh. Rylee (I HATE it when cutesy 80's names are used, except in this case, suits her to a "T"), has no backbone, no strength, no nothing. Her personality falls flat and the fact that she lets him abuse her? I'm figuring Bromberg had to pay Passionflix to make a movie out of this, I know I just cancelled the Roku part of my subscription to Passionflix, solely because of this.(less)
