I've never asked a question on goodreads before but I have to know, is this satire? I tried reading the reviews but those seemed like they were written by men posing to be women in an attempt to get women to buy this book. So many women can't be this grateful for tips on how to shut up. This can't be for real, right?

I think the title is meant to grab the reader. Karen Ehman talks to women in this book because she's a part of the Proverbs 31 ministry, but men will benefit from this study. It's partly Bible study and partly about effective communication. Men and women can have "foot-in-mouth disease," speak out of turn in anger, and use silence appropriately or as a weapon. (less)
